Board President
George Dickinson III
George Dickinson has over 25 years of experience in an array of merchant commodity markets, with expertise in business development, valuation, risk management, and commodity marketing. George is a Senior Commercial Manager for Energy Transfer, a midstream energy company in Houston TX. George has served on the Spirit board since 2017 and in the role of Board President since 2019.

Mr. Dickinson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Auburn University, a Master in Business Administration from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management, and a Master of Engineering Management degree from the Robert R. McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University.

Board Vice President
Ken Ashley
Ken is a commercial real estate broker and global tenant-representation specialist. He is a top 100 producer at Cushman & Wakefield and a 29-year Phoenix Member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS® Million Dollar Club. A leader in his field, he is a member and past Georgia Chapter President of the Society of Industrial and Office REALTORS®. He holds the Master of Corporate Real Estate designation from CoreNet Global and is a “Top Rated Faculty” honoree.
Ken authored the best-selling book The Real Estate Prescription and founded the CREi Summit, the industry’s leading digital-strategy conference.
His community service includes board leadership with the Atlanta Area Council of the Boy Scouts, Crime Stoppers Atlanta, the Fulton County Sheriff’s Foundation, and the Invest Atlanta Foundation.
A 10-year Vice President of the Spirit of Atlanta Board and a 2025 Hall of Fame inductee, Ken remains committed to giving back to the organization that shaped his life. He lives in Dunwoody with his wife, Karen, their four children, and their pug, Andy.

Board Secretary
Renee Heath
Renee Heath serves on the Spirit of Atlanta Board of Directors as Board Secretary and Lead of the HR Legal Risk Committee. A proud alumna of Spirit of Atlanta, Renee is deeply committed to ensuring that the organization’s members, staff, and volunteers experience a safe, inclusive, and inspiring environment.

Professionally, Renee is a Senior Human Resources Director for Arcosa, Inc., where she has built a 28-year career leading people strategy, organizational development, and compliance initiatives across multiple business units. Known for her integrity, empathy, and operational excellence, she brings a wealth of leadership and HR expertise to the Spirit of Atlanta Board.
Renee and her husband, Tracy, reside in Dallas, Texas, where they share a passion for giving back to their community and supporting programs that make a lasting difference in people’s lives.

Executive Committee - At Large
Nick Peach
Peach is a security executive with 27 years in cybersecurity, cybercrime, cyber fraud, and physical security. He serves in an executive role at a major bank, leading cyber controls, global transformation, and technology risk management to protect customers and strengthen core systems.
Previously, Nick held progressive leadership roles at Bank of America. He led Global Cyber Security Assurance with accountability for vulnerability management, third party assessments, and application security. As Managing Director, he launched the Trust and Safety Office, which identified and disrupted cybercriminal activity and drove a significant reduction in fraud costs. He earned a Top Talent distinction in the bank’s development programs.
Nick is Vice Chair of the City of Charlotte Civil Service Board, supporting fair standards for the Fire and Police Departments. On Spirit of Atlanta’s board, he advises on data stewardship, vendor oversight, and incident readiness. He lives in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Governance Chair
Kelsey Cain
Kelsey Cain serves as the governance chair on the Board of Directors for Spirit of Atlanta Drum and Bugle Corps, bringing a deep passion for the marching arts and a lifelong appreciation for the transformative power of music education.
Professionally, Kelsey is a government attorney with the Georgia Department of Agriculture, where she specializes in regulatory compliance and administrative law.
In her free time, Kelsey is an amateur equestrian, competing with her horse Bentley.
Through her service on the board, Kelsey is committed to supporting Spirit of Atlanta’s mission to inspire excellence, foster growth, and build community through performance and education.

Member At-Large
Ryan Hancock
Originally from Calgary, Alberta, Ryan Hancock brings more than 20 years of experience in youth performing arts, leadership, and fundraising. His involvement began in the drumline, performing with Calgary’s leading marching ensembles, including the Round Up Band, Stetson Show Band, Stampede Showband, and Allegiance Elite Drum Corps. His performing career expanded to the United States when he marched with the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps in 2008.
Ryan went on to teach and lead drumlines throughout Calgary and later served as assistant director and director of the Calgary Stampede Showband, one of the most recognized marching music programs in the world. His time there strengthened his skills in youth development, ensemble leadership, and program operations.
Today, Ryan works as a philanthropy specialist with the Calgary Stampede Foundation. He supports youth programs by building donor relationships, developing fundraising strategies, and securing resources that keep arts and leadership initiatives strong.
He brings to the Spirit of Atlanta board a combination of artistic insight and nonprofit fundraising experience shaped by years of hands-on work with performers, families, and community partners.
Ryan lives in Calgary with his wife and their two young daughters.

Dr. Jacob Levy
Jacob Levy, Ph.D. is a licensed psychologist and Associate Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Dr. Levy has served on steering committee and lead mental health consultant for Drum Corps International’s Marching Arts Safety and Health initiative since its inception in 2005.
He has served of the Board of Directors of Spirit of Atlanta, Inc. since 2018, where he currently chairs their Health and Safety Committee.

Member At-Large
Dendy Jarrett
Mr. Jarrett has spent 35 years advancing music education. He credits early music teachers for setting his course and pays that forward as CEO of the Give A Note Foundation. He leads partnerships, programs, and fundraising that help schools start and sustain music learning nationwide.
​
His career spans retail, manufacturing, and digital communities. He led Harmony Central, held roles with Guitar Center, and worked with drum brands including Slingerland and Mapex. He also served as Executive Director of the Gibson Foundation, known as Gibson Gives.
​
A professional drummer, Dendy studied Music Performance and Media Arts Technology at the University of South Carolina. He serves on nonprofit and advisory boards and enjoys time with family in an Airstream. His focus is simple, give more students a chance to learn, play, and grow through music everywhere.

Board Member At-Large
Dr. Sara Womack
Sara Womack is the Fine and Performing Arts Coordinator for Atlanta Public Schools, where she leads districtwide efforts to expand student access to high quality arts education. Now in her fourth year in the role, she focuses on strengthening instructional programs, supporting teachers, and building partnerships that create arts-rich schools across the district.
Before moving into administration, Dr. Womack spent 15 years as an elementary music teacher in metro Birmingham and as an adjunct professor at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She holds a BS and MA in music education, an MA in instructional leadership from UAB, and a Doctor of Education degree in music education from the University of Georgia. She is National Board Certified in early and middle childhood music.
Dr. Womack has held leadership roles at the state, regional, and national levels, including service as President of the Alabama Music Educators Association and the Southern Division of NAfME. She currently serves on the Georgia Music Educators Association Board as Arts Coordinator Chair. Her work has been recognized with the 2019 APS Schools First Award and the 2021 GMEA Administrative Leadership Award.
She and her husband, Sean, enjoy traveling and hiking with their sons, Will and Mason.

Board Member At-Large
Robert Rodreiguez
With over three decades of experience in construction, commercial real estate, and energy law, Robert Rodriguez has guided legal strategy for large U.S.-based corporations, including over 15 years in the renewable energy space. Robert believes strongly in supporting initiatives leading to affordable, reliable, and clean energy for all. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University and earned his Juris Doctor from Emory University. Throughout his career, Robert has authored articles and presented at legal and industry seminars in both commercial real estate and renewable/conventional energy, contributing thought leadership to these evolving fields.

A dedicated community volunteer, Robert has supported numerous nonprofit organizations, including Trust for Public Land, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, and Junior Achievement’s BizTown program. He has also been active in the Hispanic/Latino Forum of the Association of Corporate Counsel and participates in church-based outreach efforts within the Atlanta area.
Robert’s passion for the performing arts is deeply rooted in a belief that programs like Spirit of Atlanta play a transformative role in shaping character, discipline, and leadership in young people. He is especially inspired by the organization’s mission to foster excellence, innovation, and education through the marching arts, and sees its competitive nature as a powerful catalyst for personal growth and lifelong success.

Robert resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his wife and their two golden doodles, Willie and Louie. They are proud parents of three adult children.
