Michael Proctor Named President of the Spirit of Atlanta Board of Directors

Please join us in welcoming Michael Proctor as President of the Spirit of Atlanta Board of Directors!

A Spirit alumnus, Michael brings a deep connection to the corps and more than 40 years of professional leadership experience in consumer banking and consulting. His background spans corporate sales, client relationship and portfolio management, financial health, card operations, training and development, and community engagement.

Michael serves on Spirit's Board of Directors and Executive Committee and chairs the Alumni and Friends Committee. Through this work, he helps reconnect alumni, strengthen relationships, support fundraising, and keep alumni, friends, and supporters engaged in the corps' mission and future.

Over the past three decades, Michael has also served on national and regional diversity and inclusion boards and councils. After more than 40 years in Atlanta, he remains deeply connected to the city, the LGBTQ+ community, and the marching arts.
